Sorry for letting the bad comments slip through
I must admit I didn't look all that closely at the comments and that is the one reason why I moderate the comments and up until this last week, I could only count about 2-3 where I had to moderate the post. There certainly must be something in the air, water, heat or something that is turning the comments into more of a negative vibe lately. I am the punk, coward or whatever you want to call me for letting that comment slip by. I do apologize and will have my eyes open wider in the future. -Hal

You owe a personal apology to Megan Strader for allowing that post on your site even though you didn't write it. As a matter of fact you owe one to Rebecca Gannon for the comments YOU posted about her awhile back.
actually the Rebecca comments were just his opinion... the Megan stuff was just plain mean.
How about stopping your blog entirely? You said you wanted it to be a critical and constructive look at media in Wichita, but all it has turned into is a place for all the stations to beat their own chest.
Some of your criticism's are petty and contrary to what you may believe, the reporters you criticize are still fairly fresh, still learning, and no, they do not make a ton of money. Last thing they need is someone like you criticizing their every mistake.
A blog like this when done correctly is great... unfortunately, this one is not done correctly.
I assume this is a site to praise,criticize and review talent and newscasts for the Wichita television market. So he has no reason to apologize to Rebecca Gannon if it was about her skills. I didn't see what was posted about Megan so I can't comment
Why can't everyone use this site for what it should be a way to look at some constructive criticism and discussion. Why fill it with the mean spirited comments??
Hal owes Casey Walkup an apology or two as well. Deserved or not, he's been brutal towards him.
Hal is a coward who hides behind website. He doesn't tell us what his credentials are, he doesn't tell us where he works, where has has worked or even if he is in this business. The then proceeds to lecture when he obviously doesn't know the first thing about journalism and news. He's a hack and his personal attacks prove it.
If I am wrong Hal then tell us what your credentials are.
